Located in the Spencer Neighborhood of the Williams College campus, this five-story residence hall was built of dolomite stone in 1882. When Williams students have been asked about design ideas for new construction on campus, they tend to not favor modern architecture; rather they note Morgan Hall as a symbol of what the college should retain for its traditional look.
We helped with the complete upgrading, weatherization, and modernization of the building. All windows were removed for single- to double-pane conversion and then reinstalled. We used insulated glass and jambliners to meet current standards. Overall, our choices were integral to preserving and enhancing the building's architectural integrity.
